Your web host will provide you with a control panel. cPanel provides a graphic interface and automates many tools used by website owners. This gives you an easier way to administrate various aspects of your website.

Search Engine

When you search for something online you typically use a search engine. You want your website listed with the search engines.

Search Engine Optimization

This is also called Optimization or SEO. You want your website optimized for search engines because this gives your site a higher ranking.

Ranking

This is where your website appears on a search related to your niche. The better your ranking, the closer to the top of the list you will appear. First-page ranking means your page is on the first page of a search in your niche.
